As a teenage girl I guess you could say I'm easily inspired, however I'd like to argue that this is not a bad thing. Jean Kilbourne is one of those people who get that flame in me going, one of those speakers that starts talking and everyone else stops. She doesn't beat around the bush or take the issue lightly, she gets to the point. She tells the truth, and that truth is that media has been taking advantage of us for too long and it's time to fight back. It's time to challenge the system. It's time to say, "Something is very wrong here." Now, you may be thinking, "I agree with you and all but how am I going to do that?" Here's the secret: All you need is to be educated and educate in return. Start small. Bring awareness. Spread the word. Get a following. From there it will grow. An idea does not die so long as you are thinking it.
